Terra nova national park is located in Newfoundland and Labrador it was established as a national park in 1957 and was located in the British crown colonies. Most of the people that lived in the Terra nova area were British.
A lot of men left their homes to fish and they would boat back and forth to other little islands to fish . Some times fishing trips took days maybe longer. Family's lived in brick homes these homes were often cold, musky and wet . they eat what was available at the local market . There was never a guarantee that the food or herb you needed if there was no farmer to harvest or hunt that resource then no one was selling it. Now we have Farmers , hunters and fishers back then it was up to that farmer if he wanted to do the work or not now we have people working regularly.
